Birthday Party

General Information

  • Lasts 2 hours

  • Includes rentals

  • Minimum age of 8

  • Must reserve 3 weeks in advance

  • May bring snacks

  • Table will be available

Pricing

  • $240 minimum for 8 participants

  • $20 for each additional participant

  • Requires a $50 deposit

How to Schedule

  1. Ensure that the person scheduling the party has an account

  2. Either call the party planner or if they called in to schedule the party confirm the following information with them.

    • Number of participants

    • Age range of group

    • Remind them that a $50 deposit is required

    • Add payment method to their account if they do not already have one

    • Confirm they are aware of all information listed to the left

    • Confirm a date and time (all parties must be 3 weeks out)

    • Make sure that the selected time does not conflict with any other events on the Approach Calendar

  3. Create a new event on the Approach Calendar

    • Add a title (Make sure to say “Person’s” Birthday Party)

    • Select Date and Time

    • Billing Type is “Invoice”

    • Organizer is whoever is setting up the event with you

    • Pricing Tier is “Birthday Party”

    • Add party details in description (Number of kids, age range, etc.)

    • Cut off time is 2 hours

    • Unselect Public

    • Calendar is “Birthday Party”

    • Save Event

  4. Go to the event on the Calendar and Select Pay Deposit

  5. All Done!

Group Events

Group events include corporate teams, church groups, scout troops, bachelor/bachelorette parties, and more.

  • Must place $50 deposit to book

  • Lasts for 2 hours and includes all equipment and instruction

  • Must be booked 3 weeks in advance

For booking group events, customers should email wil@comorocks.com or complete the form on the events page of the website.

Private Lessons

  • Must book 3 weeks in advance

Pricing

  • Beginner Lessons - $45/ 1 hour

  • Intermediate Lessons - $55 / 1 hour 15 minutes

  • Advanced Lessons - $65 / 1 hour 30 min

Climbing Club

Overview

Fall Schedule*

Elementary School | Ages 6 - 10
Every Monday, Wednesday, or Friday • 5:00pm - 6:30pm

Middle School | Ages 11 - 13
Every Tuesday or Thursday 4:30 - 6:00pm

High School | Ages 14 - 18
Every Saturday 10:00am - 11:30am

Club Begins: August 21, 2023

Pricing

$130 - Monthly Membership

Bills on the first of each month, includes general hours access, weekly practices*, and rental shoes/equipment both in and out of practice.

$480 - Fall Club Pass (August-December)

One time purchase, includes general membership, weekly practices*, and rental shoes/equipment from August 21st-December 31st. Must be purchase prior to the start of club.

*Club will not be in session November 24th-26th and December 25th-29th

Once complete, inform them that they have been added to a temporary waitlist and will hear back from the youth programs director (Jack) within 3 business days to confirm their spot and complete their enrollment.

Competition Team

The CoMo Rocks Youth Competition Team is focused on building an environment where athletes can push their climbing abilities to the highest level. Our competitive coaches work with our athletes to create a training curriculum that helps them achieve their climbing goals both indoors and outdoors!

  • Our goal is to help youth:

    • Discover a love for climbing

    • Develop climbing skills under the instruction of skilled coaches

    • Achieve personal growth and development

    • Develop a bond and community with other climbers

    • Create lifelong interpersonal skills by competing in a team based environment

    Team Members must:

    • Travel to a minimum of one qualifying event and regionals.

    • Maintain a positive attitude

    • Attend at least 75% of scheduled practices

    • Commit to at least 2 months membership with the team ($50 cancellation fee for those cancelling before the 2 month minimum)

    * Coaches have the ability to manage the team as they see fit and remove team members who are not contributing to a positive team environment.

    Practices take place every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 4:30pm-6:00pm

School’s Out Camps

Overview

The CoMo Rocks School Out Day Camp is an opportunity for campers to learn the basics of indoor rock climbing as well as participate in many other fun camp activities. No experience is required! 

Activities Include:

  • Introduction to Climbing Safety

  • Cooperative Group Games

  • Climbing Technique Lessons

  • Climbing Film Showing

  • Arts and Crafts

  • And More!

Your child will leave camp with a sense of self-reliance and accomplishment, as well as a deeper respect for the sport of climbing, communication, and the importance of supporting your peers. Each camp runs from 9:00am-3:00pm. Snacks and drinks will be provided throughout the day but campers should pack their own lunch. There are no prerequisites to join. Maximum 18 participants. Ages 6 - 13.

$75 per camper

  • If enrolling multiple siblings at camp you receive 10% off for each additional child (10% off for one, 20% off for two, 30% off for three and so on)

  • CoMo Rocks members receive 20% off of base price in addition to above sibling discounts

October : 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 26th, 27th

November: 10th

Weekly commitment is not required. Mats, straps, blocks and bolsters available.

Rope Climbing 101

This beginner lesson is designed as an introduction to rope climbing.

The two hour lesson covers the fundamental skills of top roping. Students will leave the class with a strong understanding of the top rope system, including belaying, lowering, rope management, and utilizing a variety of belay tools.* Emphasis is placed on the skills needed to belay in a controlled environment. This lesson is not an introduction to climbing technique. No climbing gear is necessary, but feel free to bring your own. Rental gear will be provided. Ages 14+ only.

Classes are held every other Tuesday

*This course does not provide the skills necessary to climb in an outdoor environment.
